I hadn't realised Mad Mohamed Al-Fayed had joined the forum. How's your health sir?

Yes he will not be vastly mourned but Prime Minister dying in office is a difficult constitutional time. Dominic Raab would be effectively in charge of the country while the Conservative party falls in on its self trying to avoid Rishi Sunak getting the job full time.

    1) Prince William dies in a horror helicopter crash 2) We leave the EU with No Deal 3) Covid mutates and the second wave mainly affects the young with a death rate of about 20%. 4) Trump wins the US election 5) A video emerges on YouTube from the Ghislaine Maxwell evidence of Prince Andrew shagging Virginia Giuffre and the sweat is pouring down his back and into his arse crack like the Mississippi river - everyone feels obliged to watch it but The Queen refuses to denounce him publicly leading to riots in London against the royal family and Buckingham Palace is trashed.

You know, in the old days, folk would say summat like "PM is dead, who will implement the policies? Will there be a change in direction of the country? Will we have continuity? What will be the impact on the Stock Exchange and the currency markets?" This no longer applies. It's all "Which personality profile will take over?" And that's simply because for thirty years we've had Government without grand vision, without direction. Simply an island with a proud naval tradition, subsumed into a land of navel gazing. Anyway, disaster it ain't, whether left or right.

This means that the only living senior member of Khmer Rouge is Khieu Samphan, aged 89. It's been just two years since Nuon Chea and Samphan were found guilty of genocide.

None of these doom predictions are going to happen. Total waste of a dead pool game. I am going to give you all 5 positive predictions that I genuinely think will happen. 1) Biden wins the US Presidential Election, 2) Relations with China begin to develop into more friendlier diplomacy and less confrontational, 3) Coronavirus subsides all around the globe, 4) UK economy bounces back and growth soars across all sectors and 5) A beautiful white Christmas to enjoy remind us all of the good old days

Hmm - so s'cuse me playing the academic here but.. I take most of your points above however... Ennio Morricone might have a claim on the "greatest ever" tag though his argument would be quality over quantity and it might start by challenging that assertion that every film JW has touched has turned to gold by reminding the world of one conspicuous clanger in his lengthy and successful partnership with Spielberg Though oddly, a movie I've been known to champion on the back of a handful of good performances

My colleague who is a heart failure nurse got diagnosed with breast cancer couple of months ago, but managed to have her breast removed so cancer is gone (I think now needs other treatment but I didn't inquire too much). However the reconstructive surgery won't be for 6+ months due to not being urgent. Her treatment is being done at a private hospital as private and NHS hospitals are working together. I work in Cardiology and non urgent referrals for echos have a 5-6 month waiting list? Our department was closed from mid March to end of May. We also did have two echo girls doing tests at a time but we've had to reduce how many people are in the waiting room. That means 10 patients roughly per day rather than 20 and i'm booking up to beginning of November (with gaps for any urgent slots). Our original waiting list for routine appointments was 6-8 weeks from referral date.

If the committee put him on the list and Eastwood finds out about it, he seems like a guy who would personally fly to everyone's house and punch them in the face.
