It's time to count the corpses, it's time to list them right, it's time to check the obits on the Muppet Show tonight...

Alright, she’s been a pick in past years on the DDP and discussed on here a few times. Finally solved thanks to a user on Wiki who got this from the National Film Information Service. Dusty Anderson (wiki) died in 2007 aged 88/89 in Marbella, Spain (same place her film director husband died in 1993). Death notice online here.

Aww, my gut told me she was on her way out, which is why I picked her in DDP. It might have seemed like a long shot but here we are before the end of January. I don't profess to be some kind of stan (it's only a punny username after all) but she was my favourite of the Mel Brooks-era comedy actors. Very talented and throughly deserving of her Oscar. Watching The Last Picture Show feels like a fitting tribute.

Forum post reporting the death of Frank Saucier (wiki), aged 94. Like DeMars, he was one of the last surviving members of the St. Louis Browns, a now defunct team that existed from 1901 to 1953. 5 remain now. They're listed here. The oldest, George Elder, will be 100 in March and the youngest is 92 year old Billy Hunter. EDIT: Nearly 2 months on from this, it appears to be a hoax.

Have little people being dying a lot recently? If so, all our teams are equally fucked- very few, if any, little people picked in the DDP!

So, Mary Tyler Moore Show cast: Ted Knight1986 Mary Tyler Moore2017 Georgia Engel2019 Valerie Harper2019 Cloris Leachman2021 Betty White, 99, is now the last female standing. Gavin MacLeod, 90 next month, and Ed Asner, 91, both still with us too. Could they outlive all of the female regulars?

A truly sad loss. Knew her best from The Mary Tyler Moore Show, of course, but also from the Disney film, The North Avenue Irregulars, as well as multiple animated films as a voice actres.

In terms of quantity of hits it actually has been extremely high (already at 30+ hits with still a few days to go in January). It’s just in the big household names there hasn’t been that many so far.

Apparently Adrian Campos, former F1 driver and team boss and current owner of Campos Racing in junior formulae has died. Must be sudden as he looked well on January 14th on a Facebook Post.

She was also in The Facts of Life, post Charlotte Rae, which is where I remember her from mostly; The Last Picture Show I've seen a few times, but can't recall her (though I do remember Cybill Shepherd being in it). But generally good value for money.

From a local Facebook page .... an unpleasant chav couple have been ranting that someone knocked down their kids' snowman. It got really nasty, with threats issued, and a ridiculous number of people chiming in saying how dreadful it was, how mean, such evil people about. And the kids being offered sweets and toys to ease their grief. Then a neighbour posted footage from his CCTV showing the snowman collapsing by itself.
