Happy 90th birthday to the one and only Angie Dickinson Her birthday is September 30th so slightly belated UK time but definitely on time in the state of California were Angie lives.

A slow-burning cancer Delayed the inevitable for Greg Gilbert into 2018... and 2019... and 2020... and 2021... but not into 2022. Pedro gains one point, whereas Sir Creep shows an indie streak in not picking Gilbert and thus attaining the solitary lead. 1. Sir Creep 8 2. Pedro67 9 3. The Quim Reaper 15 =4. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Angie_Dickinson Thought it was about time that the deathlist forum stopped overlooking Hollywood's beautiful butterscotch blonde sex symbol of the 1950s, 60s and beyond Angie Dickinson. Former lover of Frank Sinatra, ex wife of music genius Burt Bacharach (and rumoured to have had liaisons with US President John F Kennedy) and one of the ever few figures from this era of Hollywood still with us I thought she warranted her own thread! Not to mention her breakthrough role in American cop show Policewoman and her much praised role in 1980 film Dressed to kill. Not that I have any reason to believe she's in any immediate danger of slipping of the mortal coil but I just feel she warrants her own thread. Now aged 85 but still seems quite active although not in acting roles. Sadly lost her only child, daughter (with Bacharach) Nikki to suicide in 2007.

Obit watch: He got a Washington Post obit, but not the New York Times. He got an Associated Press obit that the Daily Mail didn't copy/paste. And he didn't get a yahoo obit. So now we know, this is where to draw the line.

According to this article the five who attended were Sir Geoff Hurst, Brian Dear, Ronnie Boyce, Ken Brown and Jack Burkett. Which means Jim Standen, Joe Kirkup and John Sissons were the non-attendees https://www.whufc.com/news/articles/2021/september/29-september/hammers-unveil-moore-hurst-and-peters-statue-london

Eberhard Jüngel, the leading Protestant theologian to emerge out of Stalinist East Germany, has died. He was 86. Jüngel’s work overshadowed in some ways by his peers and colleagues, including future Pope Benedict XVI, Joseph Ratzinger. He was also unsuccessful in popularizing the phrase "It's a Jüngel out there", causing him to fall short in two areas. https://www.christianitytoday.com/news/2021/september/died-eberhard-juengel-theology-trinity-god-cross-speakable.html

Yes, very sad. But what's even sadder is that I didn't pick him in the DDP or the AOP.

Longtime part of the deadpooling furniture Greg Gilbert has died. He had typically hovered around the Hartlepool waters as a unique and indeed has been a unique for a different team each of the past three years. Pedro picked him in 2019, drol in 2020, but the one who actually gets the points is Annami with 35 base points and 14 more for the uniqueness for 49 total.

I think the 66 boys have been a bit unlucky through. I mean the year before Hurst, Peters and Moore won with the West Ham the cup winners cup and 8 of the 11 of them are still alive. At least Five of them are still well enough to have attended West Ham’s match tonight.

This is Angie Dickinsons most recent TV interview from 2016. Mentally still pretty sharp.
