I first felt her health was faltering when she didn't attend Princess Eugenies wedding. Aside from the Queen , the Duchess of Kent was probably the only member of the wider royal family who had good and warm relations with Eugenies mother Sarah Ferguson. You and me both, Parker's dropped me to ninth - I'll out myself again here and admit I've been appaled at my generally lacklustre DDP campaigns, the only recent exception being when I pretty much scrambled a team over a couple of hours whilst trying to avoid office conversations. The plan this year was to pack the line up with bankable if low point fodder and pick astutely amongst the likely drop 40 candidates. The head of ISIS was a smart pick, avoiding Parker for the same reasons others did is likely to prove costly. A watershed moment in this year's competition for quite a few of us, I think.
