He's clearly not the same man he once was, but then, he is 80. Even Dianne Feinstein showed mental decline in her 80s, and all she's done for 40 years is sit in a comfy chair and bark orders at people! The Biden Presidency all but admits this - look at how quickly they're trying to get stuff done - infrastructure, green energy, jobs, protections we take for granted in the UK - all at once, because it's a 4 year tenure, not an 8 year one. Which so far has worked - Biden's managed to get more of his plans passed through the Senate than any democrat since LBJ? FDR? A long time anyhow. But...the problem is, that Democrats seemed to buy into the Hilary Clinton or bust idea for so long, they never built up any potential challengers. So she sunk, and they're a bit like Labour in 2010 - where's the contenders? (No, Bernie Sanders is 81, he's not the answer, sorry fans.) This is of course why Biden came out of retirement in 2020, as the only popular name who could beat Trump. He'll retire into the sunset in January 2025 and tbf he's earned it. i don't know who they've got to replace him, though.

It's because the general public i.e. middle-aged white Brits have heard it. Plenty of rappers who have had more influence, who will get the "who?" treatment when they go.

Song Ping is making the headlines as his recent message goes against Xi, as old Song is calling for reforms. State media have partially censored Song's interview. Ironic considering he was the hardliner in 1989!

English Actor Brian Murphy, star of 1970s/1980s sitcoms Man About the House as well as its spinoff George and Mildred turned 90 a few days ago. He is famous enough, evident from previous statements that he should have a place on the list as and when it is deemed necessary, and he is certainly more famous than some names that have turned up on the list over the years. He is also one of the oldest remaining regular cast members from Last of the Summer Wine, having portrayed Alvin Smedley from 2003 until the show's end in 2010. Absolutely meets the fame criteria and getting on in years by now. I sure hope not, but could he be a potential candidate for 2023? Intriguing Fact: When serving at RAF Northwood he met and formed a friendship with future The Good Life and Monarch of the Glen actor the late great Richard Briers, one and a half years his junior.

""Draw up plans for cuts" Government departments told" according to BBC website. So we've come full circle. 12 years of the Tories. Austerity, Brexit, Covid, Austerity, this time without the 10 years of unprecedented growth which preceded it. We've never had it so good...
