Urbain Le Verrier died on this day 146 years ago, aged 66. - Le Verrier was initially interested in chemistry before becoming an astronomer, and would be the director of the Paris Observatory from 1854 to 1870, and from 1873 to his death in 1877. - Le Verrier would study the orbits of comets, and was able to prove that some of their orbits were slightly altered after getting too close to Jupiter's gravitational field. - Le Verrier's most famous discovery was being one of the co-discoverers of Neptune, and he was able to pinpoint its location by using mathematics to explain perturbations in Uranus' orbit. Neptune was found within one astronomical degree of Le Verrier's predicted location. - Le Verrier would attempt to use the same mathematic formula to find a planet closer to the Sun than Mercury- it is now known that there are no planets closer, and Mercury's orbital aberrations were proven through the theory of general relativity. - Le Verrier's tombstone features a large sphere featuring the Zodiac atop it:

Longtime Italian politician Giorgio Napolitano is the next hit here. He practically did everything in Italian politics: Deputy, President of the Chamber of Deputies, MEP, Minister of the Interior, Senator for Life, and President. His death completes the trifecta of Italian electoral deadpool picks, following the deaths of Berlusconi & Forlani. He is by far the most popular hit in the pool, giving points to 12 users. @theoldlady, @chilean way, @tracy, @P94, @Thatcher, and @Hell all get their first points of the game, leaving 2 users still at 0 points. @diego is now in second place, while @MariNisia and @The Old Crem share the number 3 spot. @DeathBecomesThem is still at the top, but only 1 point separates first from second place.

https://www.cartercenter.org/news/pr/2023/jimmy-carter-99.html If they're announcing events for his birthday on Oct. 1, his situation probably isn't as dire as his grandson has made it out to be. I say he'll go between mid October and the end of December.

I am sure he is not in a building other then his home. Hospice care is not just hospitalizatioin. Hospice care are nurses coming to your home to keep tabs on you and make sure your meds are right and to make sure you are comfortable. A lot of time, Hospice Care is for the Family. As in my case with my sister, I was awaiting the Hospice crew every day so I knew that I was doing the job correctly. I am sure no one is waiting for a bed.

3 years ago I went on a date with an Italian and he was impressed that I had prior knowledge on Berlusconi and Napolitano. Of course I left out that I’m only aware of them because of this site.

I should have given up on Calvin and pivoted to saving Ting Tings because I liked that one about as much. Well it's not like either of them were as good as Bonkeys anyway. I like that typo so it can stay. Fri 22 Sep 84 Lady Gaga - Bad Romance 80 Katy Perry - I Kissed a Girl 46 La Roux - Bulletproof 41 Estelle ft.
