I thought I was nailing this song when I was launching out with it in the car earlier. Unfortunately, a friend of mine who I'd accidentally pocket dialled didn't totally agree.

About a month or so I was writing a post in the "People You Thought Were Dead" thread for Scotty Bowers, the legendary Hollywood "male madam" and gay pimp to the stars. The internet cut out and by the time it was back I'd forgotten about the post. Anyway, Scott Bowers has now died aged 96.

So, there's been a lot of focus on Korean/Japanese pop stars and the pressure they face. This is the 2nd? 3rd? K-pop 20s death this year. We need to start considering the 'big' bands (I know of BTS and Pink, and I'm sure there's a couple other well known ones) in the 27 Club conversation, IMO.

Derek Trucks is a blues rock guitarist. He is the nephew of Butch Allman, was in The Allman Bros from 1999 on, and is married to blues rock musician Susan Tedeschi. He always had a rotating cast of musicians on his albums and live performances, so I can't assure you I totally know who Scott is, but deserves to be here nonetheless (just because you haven't heard of em, doesnt mean I or Phantom haven't heard of them-rule, fyi )
