She did a pretty good job of that herself.

You’ve completely missed the point. I’m not talking about the small amount of idiots who are willing to pay almost £1K for a short recorded message. Dick v D should be more interested in being accessible to all fans. Making a limited amount of slots per week and randomly selecting who gets one / charging a minimal fee is far more gracious for a millionaire celebrity. Also, take your patronising attitude and shove it.

In other words, more of the same shite he's been spouting for ages. If the Beeb had got rid of Agnew and kept Boycott, bet we wouldn't have all this crap.

I don't think the Windsors have any interest in protecting Diana's reputation. The rate at which she went through men in her latter years pretty much did for that anyway. As to Harry's parentage, the dates for the relationship with Hewitt don't work but I'm sure Harry would have taken a DNA test decades ago. If there had been any resultant desire to get Harry out of the line of succession they would have staged something much less complicated than the whole Meghan affair.

Mrs Biblio came up with an interesting theory yesterday. Has Prince Harry's stage managed fuck off to the US been brought about because his true genetic heritage has been found to be compromised? This way he is out of the picture without damaging the reputation of his mother... No evidence but one way of interpreting events

Makes you think he's still thinking, still has a moral compass and still has some sense of what people want from him. The free giveaway ends 31 Dec 2024 - one outcome of which could be more people learning and performing his songs and an increase in radio play and the income from recorded versions. Obviously, he's 92...

Agreed - though I just came here to do so. Looks like it's at least a couple hours old, which is yesterday's news around here.

Guys dont you think we should consider CoffinLodger/Iain's mental health here? I know we all have our witty banter/arguments/political debates/tough love/etc, which is all perfectly fine, but dont you remember the post he put out saying he was going to kill himself? I'm just as guilty as everyone else here, as I have told him to fuck off repeatedly when it came to his unbalanced/bizarre posts and previously made fun of him, but maybe after what we saw last week I would be lying if I said that I wasnt a bit concerned. Yes he may be trolling, but what if he isnt? Is insulting him at this time worth the risk? ...and yes I know this is deathlist, not mumsnet, but I dont want him to come back on with his current mental state and feel like he's no good (even though his posts aren't popular). I had depression myself and it is a huge challenge when it comes to calling out for help and having your friends take you seriously when you say that you feel like you have nothing left. @CoffinLodger If you are suffering and if you change your mind then don't come back until you are mentally stable. This forum is a bad place for you if your head is in a mess.

Thanks - yes, it was particularly cruel as she had had really bad reactions to the chemo, then halfway through the course they did a scan which showed that the tumour had already shrunk to a fifth of its size. Much celebration, then the same night she found a little sore on her waist. It was a secondary cancer and two weeks later she was dead. That's what lymphoma can do, folks.

Yeah .... even 25 years ago when my mum was diagnosed with it, the survival rate was 80%. She was in the 20% though.
