It was gathered that Shofoluwe battled with COVID-19 at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital before his death. Shofoluwe was earlier diagnosed of COVID-19 contrary to the speculation of a brain disease."

Nicknamed 'Scobie', Malone's life had changed forever 19 months ago, when a fall in a hospital left him a quadriplegic.
