I think the only four actors left who appeared in more than one episode, playing the same character more than once, are Dowdeswell, Jimmy Perry's widow Gilda Perry (who played Doreen the waitress), and Michael Knowles and Linda James (Captain Cutts and Betty), who are a married couple irl.

Won her 11th Grammy: Verrry slow on her feet, but I suppose the main thing is that she wasn't wheeled out. She seems in good spirits and her speaking voice sounds strong.

Pretty good but a very rushed ending. Not surprising that only one adult star remains from the 1959 film as only Robert Powell and Timothy West appear to be alive from the 1978 version.

Following the death of Michael Jayston the list of classic Doctor Who serials with no surviving guest actors is up to 6. With those being An Unearthly Child, Planet of the Giants, The Rescue, The Power of the Daleks, The Deadly Assassin and The Ultimate Foe. (You could technically include the Edge of Destruction but it had no guest cast to begin with so I don't think it counts). An Unearthly Child & Planet of Giants have 2 regulars - Russell and Ford The Rescue is just Russell and O'Brien Power and Assassin both just have 1 surviving cast member being Anneke Wills and Tom Baker respectivly and now The Ultimate Foe has Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford.

I thought Petula Clark's Downtown remix was rotten. I have always thought Last Christmas was a terrible saccharine piece of nonsense. But this, THIS, with the Degrees dancing in a snowglobe to the choon revamped for a house party, is downright terrible. So I thought I'd share it:
