#27: Save the 'Crunchy Frog' resets. Well, ok, go for it. Officials with the BJ's Restaurants chain said they're investigating how a dead frog wound up in a diner's salad at one of the company's locations in West Covina. Shawna Cepeda posted a picture of her salad with a frog that appeared to be the size of two croutons in a Yelp review on June 14. Cepeda couldn't be reached Saturday, but in her Yelp post she said she ate at the restaurant the previous night and ordered a side salad. SC #27-1: A McDonald’s customer took a bite into a Chicken Legend Burger only to chow down on a dead moth. And now for something completely different:

There are some good threads on there. I do remember finding the Hartford Circus fire thread quite interesting and the Ludwig II one too was pretty good but on the whole I prefer deathlist.

I used to be a fairly regular poster on there when it first started but haven't looked at it in while. It is indeed a bit shite. From what I recall it was full of Americans who are obsessed with either Sharon Tate (fair enough I guess), Tiny Tim ( not to everyone's taste but I sort of get it) and Jim Varney (who?) It was all a bit mawkish and sentimental and very ban happy. I also remember a lot of the people on there being quite anti dead pools, but would spend hours looking at celebrity post mortems and discussing Brittany Murphy's pubic hair styling in great detail. I've probably made it sound much more interesting than it there.

Billions being spent on renewing the Palace of Westminster, Buckingham Palace, nuclear weapons. Austerity until the 2030s. Poverty levels set to rise and a never ending withdrawal from the EU which transitional period for same will continue and continue. Fishing rights to be sold to prop up the City of London. Farming subsidies diminished. A health service that will be slowly and creepingly privatised for a crappy trade deal with the US. The deportation of people who have made a home here and contributed to its success. Lack of affordable homes for the young and existing housing which people are frightened to live in. Less money for local services and schools in particular, while subsidising countries abroad with UK money. Continued terrorist attacks. Independence hasn't gone. The Scots will be crying out for it within 5 years.

It's no Curse of Fenric: vampires, WW2, poison gas, Norse mythology, Nicholas Parsons, and much of the plot nicked from The Fog. Great stuff. All of which is on topic for Prince Philip, of course.

Oh yes, sorry. Mind you, the "cream of Scotland Yard" line has always raised a chuckle here. That old Scottish black humour.

Indeed, Botswana got very lucky with him and his successor. I only got to know him a couple of months ago by an economics book on institutions. Masire was a good man. In 1980, Zimbabwe was considered to be a rich country in the future. But then they got Mugabe... Botswana however is on a good path.

Yeah, I seen y'all Brits complaining about the "heat wave" with temps at 30°C. We call that "summer" here in America. Cultural differences, man.

List delivered in PM. ETA: This is an online, anonymous source, so it's worth the paper it's printed on, but one MP probably on every By-Election Bingo player's list has been seriously ill. A doctor friend of the source who lives in the MP's constituency said he believes the illness is cancer and has seen the MP regularly at the hospital he works at. A Freebie if you trust online anonymous sources once in a while.

It doesn't matter what the cause is, the result is pretty much the same. If there's talk about being too weak for life-saving surgery, you would keep them in hospital where you can monitor their condition. You wouldn't send them back to prison.maybe he wants to say goodbye to his friends first. He could do that on Facebook Live

So once again I had an erotic dream about someone I don't find remotely attractive namely Gyles Brandreth in a cellar, last time in was Boris Johnson in an aeroplane toilet. Why does my subconscious find flamboyant Tories in confined spaces sexy? Do I need help?

Personally I can't see how the committee failed to put any of the members of Viola Beach on the list.
