Surprisingly the issue at stake is not the eventual ownership of the farm - that might explain why it never came to your attention.

Yeah, so I'm 825 miles from home and now Harvey is bearing down the coast and onto my house today. I'm pissed cuz this is Texas' storm, not ours. So my poor little Louisiana home is being deluged with at least 8" of water the next 24 hours and more to come --- and as you may recall south Louisiana and particularly Baton Rouge got crushed by last August's flooding. If that thing parks over Louisiana we are screwed, and I'm not at home to see what's up or save anything. My daughter is off of school at least today, probably most of the week, and with her mom so she's ok. I suspect my home is ok floodwater-wise, but house damage who knows. I have a metal roof so there's that, but an oak tree can take care of that right quick. Damn storm should have stayed in Texas like all our Louisiana hurricanes do, we don't foist our troubles onto neighbouring states. The NERVE ~~ SC

P sure we already have a thread like this. Hold on while I find it. EDIT: Threads merged. Given you knew about this thread already having posted in it previously there was really no reason to make an entire thread out of your own list.

So, some useful insights - he spends most of his time caring for his wife and he was seen shopping in Screwfix (ironic, eh?) We could - like - re-jig the DLCon and arrange a viewing of the house next door to Rolf

Right gang, lets get this nailed down for a date! First off, I'm thinking any Saturday in March or April. Ive considered the possibility of a certain teams play off ambitions and Marys desire to travel to the closest away games to him or summat. Hence, Ive left May out but..... The rest of you, I assume, have nowt too pressing. So can I have some dates that are doable so I can try and get this thing up and running? Ta. PS: If anybody has access to a good copier so that we can get some genuine top quality Dickie O masks made up?

Ironic of you of all people to accuse someone of spamming. It's a bit like me accusing someone of being a lazy bastard.

Last night I dreamt I was on Pointless and Alexander Armstrong decided to come out of the closet and announce he was in a relationship with Richard Herring! What is wrong with me? I finally dream about someone I do find attractive and then I dream that he's gay.

I hate when people ask me where I will be in 3 years time I have to tell them I don't have 2020 vision

I wish the trains ran a bit later. I can't go to anything in Brum without staying overnight. Anyway this morning I managed to score a ticket for Robert Plant at the Royal Albert Hall.

Many of you curmudgeons may have noticed that it's that time of year when the godawful British media report A-level results day with a deliberate focus on the high-achievers in an attempt to make the average student feel like dirt. Well, whilst I'm not one of those high-achievers, I'm pleased to say that I did get into my university of choice, that is the University of Stirling, and will be studying Philosophy there over the course of the next four years. In the meantime, I can celebrate the opportunity of leaving my dull and uninspired life behind and making some friends and enjoying myself for a change.

Yeah, I like Andrew Neil. He hates everyone. Also, while Paxman used to start at roaring level, and thus politicians were on guard, Neil has a habit of casually walking the politco into the verbal trap and then slamming it shut. Much more fun.
