That wouldn't actually help that much Sir Creep because if only 1 of the 5 knew them then he would still be booted out. The point of this pool (or at least my understanding of it) is that the fame bar is set very high. I actually tried to prove that Ted Turner and Alice Munro decisions on Fame were wrong following the rules but they aren't - they both succeed on the wiki and the article (rules 1 and 4) but fail on rules 2 and 3 - at that point you need 4 out of 5 people to know who they are (and they failed that test). Very harsh on both of them but the rules are well set out. PS Try not to be such a twat.

Who’s to say there isn’t one? You ignorant cunt. 3/5 of us did know Ted Turner. One short. That’s the rules. My rules. And nobody said you’re supposed to play this game; it’s entirely your choice and it certainly won’t be made any better with you in it. Now get your head out of your arsehole, you fucking flag-shagging embarrassment. TQR

I wasn’t allowed to say anything until today, but it's now okay for me to share that I have volunteered for the Covid-19 vaccine trials that Glasgow College are running in partnership with Oxford University. It's important that we all do our part to beat this virus. The vaccine is the one that has been developed in Russia. I received my first dose this morning 06:20 am, and I wanted to let you all know that it’s completely safe, with иo side effects whatsoeveя, and that I feelshκι я чувю себя немного стрно и я думю, что вытл осные уши. чувству себя немго страо

Fuck off Creepy. Enough of the interweb is dominated by your lot. We've just had a week dominated by your elections where an utter cretin with no redeemable qualities whatsoever still got 70 million votes. There's a world outside the US borders, not that you lot think so*. I know who Ted Turner is thanks. Rude? Fire with fire. It's all some folks understand. *those that post as you do that is. There are plenty of perfectly pleasant Americans hereabouts.

Ok, I'm bored and I can't sleep again. How do you know there isn't an American amongst the four that aren't TQR himself? Incidentally, whilst I know who Ted Turner is, can you name the owner of a tv station or network outside America without recourse to google? Just curious.

This for me is easily the best thread I've seen compiled in just over 8 months.

True. The problem is that there is also a lot of places out there that pedal the left wing manifesto too. The truth is out there but we really don't always know who is telling it. Best to ignore the lot of them.

I feel as though Noam Chomsky, Carlos Menem, Rush Limbaugh, Glynis Johns and Robert Fyfe are all debut musts for the 2021 DL.

I'd like some proper evidence to support that claim. Each of those three sources has a right-wing agenda.

Well I'm not saying never. I might give it a go next year. I just think that so many of them are still "young". I mean if you look at all of the acts of Stock Aitken Waterman for example, I think there are maybe 3 names who are dead? As for sampling... is it really that hard to tackle when writing lineups? I would just ignore the sample, and focus on the title artist. E.g. with Kon Kan and I Beg Your Pardon, surely you'd just list the two guys from the production duo itself and not Lynn Anderson who's sampled?

Finished. I'll slot these all in later to their respective letters. That last section took so long... bloody Elvis and his huge entourage. That's the 1970s done, and moreover that's me done. I refuse to do anymore. Though corrections and updates are ofc very welcome! If somebody wants to do the 80s they're welcome to, though this is DeathList and I just don't think the 80s musicians are dropping off at anywhere near same rate as those from the 50s, 60s and 70s. Thanks to everyone who chipped in, particularly @YoungWillz and @RoverAndOut.
