Keshav Datt, death report. Also a Scavenger hunt selection. (Datt vs Dutt confusion, hence the seemingly duplicate of the above).

Dilip Kumar's death means that my G.I. generation has died off. Might be a first in this game, but only by hair's breadth. Dead Cow, for example, only has Clarissa Eden left.

The most eternal of eternals, immortal of immortals, lord of lords and the world's greatest death dodger Dilip Kumar himself appears to dead and for real this time. His family and his pulmonologist have confirmed it. I will still wait for more confirmations but I think this time it is real.

Someone I've actually heard of. Stunning development Mr Crumble. PS Lucky Colin Jost, whoever he is...

Perhaps I should wait for a better source though, just to make sure Drol is 100% sure Kumar is dead. You know, the BBC aren’t necessarily the most reliable reporters of death...

Generally men continue to lose ground fastly. There are only 6 men in the top 130 and if Antonia da Santa Cruz lives a month more there will not be any man in the top 20 https://gerontology.wikia.org/wiki/Oldest_Validated_supercentenarians_All-Time

I've mentioned to Creep that if needed I could step in to run it. Not sure why this pool hasn't been updated in months.

Now it's only the top 3, Tanaka-Randon-Dos Santos. However I'd be suprised if Dos Santos doesn't go soon.

Apparently I am one of the few here, but from my point of view the list is not so bad at all. Maybe some pros (+) and cons (-) from my first perspective: + A lot of big famous new names like Yoko Ono, Frank Williams, Castro or Walter Mondale. + It is the first time that I know everyone from the list or have heard before ------> no obscure picks like Bill Gates Sr., Gord Downie,.... + On the other hand the comitee have to go against people like James Whale, Turnbull, Parker (maybe they might be dead certs and good DDP-choices, but after all they dont seem to be deathlisty and famous enough. and thats fine for me. tbh I never heard of Whale or Turnbull outside this forum, but thats probably just because I`m not from UK. - More than 80% of the list inlcudes celebs from only two countries, not really representative from a global perspective. I know and absolutely accept that this is primarily a UK focused list. But if I had a wish to the committee so shortly after christmas, it would be a little bit to open up to the rest of the world. - The biggest surprise for me that Tom Smith was kicked off the list and some one like Shane McGowan is still on it. not really plausible to me, but who knows...? Thats all! Happy and healthy new year to all of you here in the forum!
