A veteran of the D-Day landings and the third oldest-living former MP. His death leaves just 3 living former MPs who served in WWII – Sir Patrick Duffy, Baroness Jill Knight and Ben Ford. I know so little about their current state of health I’m not in a position to say who will be the last one standing. Not Duffy though.

Absolutely gutted I'm not a mod the now. Oh wait. I couldn't change usernames anyways. Carry on Omicron is ripping through the US and I'm completely in favour of restrictions stopping them from gathering, or going to Ireland. Or Scotland. Or England. Forever.

I can see now it is "Sir Cunto" and not "Dr. Cunto". I'm sure to take my medical advice from someone who's sole redeeming quality is being a cunt!

She was Loose Women’s plastic surgery expert for a while and appeared on it without her daughter being part of the segment. So arguably that gives her independent fame. Plus she often appeared in her reality shows long before she was Ill.

Apologies that I have not been acknowledging peoples entries. I haven't been too well over the past couple of days (but well enough to look for images of Manie Van Doren!) so I haven't been processing the entries. A quick glance doesn't show up any issues (I only count 24 on Famous4Evas team, so Brian Blessed joins the team) so all seems good. The following players are in: An Fear Beag Arghton BabyBlue Bibliogryphon CalebH DeathbyArsenic Death Impends Deathray Doulton Drol Famous6Eva Great Uncle Bulgaria GuyfromFuture Ladyfiona JoeMoneypenny MariNisia Msc The Old Lady Torva Messor TQR Wannamaker Yorkshire Banker Lots of new names which is great, and lots more familiar faces still to enter, which will likely happen at 9pm on December 31st! Keep them coming - we are just over half way to last years total of teams, so a big final push is needed to break the 43 team mark that we have had for the past 3 years. It is possible that I won't be able to do anything with the entries for a short while, with a hospital bed more likely than a New Years Eve party at this stage, but keep them coming in - I will get to them eventually!

He said it feels like a cold. That’s all it is and you fear mongering @Paul Bearer wannabes are morons. NOT ONE VACCINATED PERSON HAS DIED FROM OMICRON. If you say otherwise post a name. And prove it. What horseshoe this page has become. I honestly thought DEADPOOLERS would be the obe place of learned sanity when it comes to illness and death and the connection. But no. Goddamn morons all of you. SirCunto

I tried to unbold it! It didn't let me unselect bold so I just said fuck it! For the second meaning, I'm proud of every name on my list this year and could defend each one, but not the list as a whole So many oldies Your signatures will do! I'll paste it onto the 'master list'

There's really no point in abdication at this stage. If she had wanted to do it in order to let Charles succeed at a younger age, she would have done it years ago.

The death rate in the UK is about 9.4/1000 each year. This means that of the population of UK of 69 million around 650,000 die each year. Or every day 1,781 people die. Currently over 500,000 people are testing positive for Covid each week. That means in a 4 week period 2 million people will have Covid. That means that statistically if Covid is not deadly at all we can expect 2/69 * 1,781 = 52 people to die every day within 28 days of testing positive for covid. If the 500,000/week doubles to say a million a week then you can expect the 52 people to become 104. So the only way of eliminating ‘statistical’ covid deaths is to eliminate cases. Here's some other related info about Covid. There was 112000 deaths involving influenza/pneumonia in 2020, looking like it’s dropped significantly in 2021 – I’m not hearing this in the news. The dotted line is the annual average. The death rate in 2019 for the UK was 9.3 per 1,000, 9.4 in 2020 and 9.4 in 2021 I think so the graphs above are just confirmation of the obvious related fact that if so many people had a covid related death then death by all other causes have dropped. Again Covid positive within 28 days is 'robbing' the other causes of death.

2022 Shadow DeathList Competition Big note: Please don't challenge individual names on someones list when they post. When a celebrity dies, this discussion can take place then. This is more of a "everyone who already makes a normal Shadow DeathList should come and submit this here anyway" kind of thing, to explain the motive of this competition and why the rules are generally relaxed. To enter: Have a list of 50 celebrities chosen by yourself, for their likelihood to die in 2022. Candidates must be famous enough that their death is confidently expected to be reported by any countries media On the issue that someone isn't famous enough, I have no idea how to deal with that. Adding strict rules and limitations doesn't seem very cool though, because I want people to feel comfortable posting their normal Shadow DeathList. Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently Candidates may submit their list any time from September 2021 to December of 2022 of 50 names + 5 subs. Post your list here to enter, there's no stress in posting it by January 1st if you're ultra-competitive with keeping your names a secret Names on the scoreboard will only count AFTER you submit your list. If you submitted your list on the main Shadow Lists Forum or another similar forum late this may be taken into consideration. (If you submit a list in February of 2022 without having had posted it elsewhere, deaths occurring in January aren't going to count) Things to keep in mind about any person you choose: Are they likely to obit in a major newspaper? Are they a well known celebrity? Do they have a Wikipedia page in any language (that clearly wasn't made just for Deathlisting) You will not be asked to prove any of these when you post your list, but upon your candidates death you may need to meet some of these criteria. I will try and be pretty relaxed on these and use discretion, but family members of yours/local nobodies are the reason why I'm not just saying that all names will count if they die. A rough guideline that I don't follow is to probably try and pick names that the "main" DeathList may also pick. Scoring System: One death = One Point Making this early to take criticism of making this, suggestions, and to give me time to think of necessary rules. The inspiration for creating this comes from wanting a clear place to compare how my Shadow List does to the main DeathList. Anyone else that wants this for any reason is welcome to join and post their list below at a reasonable time. It is a valid criticism to say that the lack of rules may affect the quality of names or the formality of this deadpool. Some people already make a Shadow DeathList and I want this to be a place where we can compare them. For 2022, at least, I won't have formal rules on names. Being reported in the newspaper and having a Wikipedia Article that isn't a stub will go a long way.

Me: Damn it, my shortlist is falling to bits and I can't find replacements. Mrs MSC: Don't worry about it, after all, aren't your deadpool teams always shite anyway? Quick confidence boost on the touchline there!

Saw Jane Goodall interviewed a couple of months ago if that on the BBC. Looked with it and determined to carry on. Think she will see 90 at least.

Berry Gordy is an interesting pick and I wouldn’t be mad about his inclusion on the list but considering the photos of him at the recent Kennedy Center Award, I wouldn’t put him for the next 2 years at least, he seemed really healthy

Ah, yeah, role play! He went round hers to 'discuss' the impact of the virus on the NHS and, as he was getting to the main points, his dick fell out of his trousers and.... Yes, I can see that working.

I probably won't submit anything. The whole deadpooling thing doesn't spark joy. I only put in 2 (?) teams all year and went away from the forum for 4 months. I'm very much not well, in all honesty, but I prefer to keep my neurotic ramblings offline. We'll see what happens come Hogmanay.

With a month to go, let’s talk briefly about the DDP. This year’s current effort has, as expected, taken the 26th Derby Dead Pool by storm, beating literally some teams with this sterling effort: With 6 points, we are currently joint-415th! Tough act to follow, but here is the official Punt Pool 2022 DDP entry, comprised of (nearly) an alphabet of pleasing punt picks from our masterlist, and who we can thank for them: Art Garfunkel (msc) Brigitte Bardot (time, Caleb) Chubby Checker (Dying Probably) David Lynch (Handy) Edmund White (Book) Frankie Avalon (Death Impends) Ghislaine Maxwell (Kenny) Helmut Berger (Caleb) Irma Thomas (TQR) Joe Pesci (Rover) Katharine, Duchess of Kent (Biblio, Toast) Len Goodman (GUB) Michelle Phillips (Handy) Norman Tebbit (GUB, Rover) Paul Anka (Death Impends) Roman Polanski (QTips) Steve Buscemi (msc) Tom Baker (Biblio) Ursula Andress (Old Lady) Willie Nelson (Banana, Roey, Engineer) RESERVES: Val Kilmer (Newjack) Yoko Ono (Reptile, Spade, Markb4) Sixix Ninine (Don’t Fear The Reaper, Roey)

While it's obvious why pro-vaxxers want everyone to get vaccinated, I don't really see why anti-vaxxers should care whether other people get jabbed.
