4 pointsKissinger is more well known worldwide than the Queen Mother imo, although I still think that Kirk Douglas was the most famous centenarian.

3 pointsFrancisca Viveros Barradas, known professionally as Paquita la del Barrio, the exceptional and successful Mexican actress, singer, and songwriter, a rough mainstream bolero and ranchera music singer who has recorded more than 30 albums, best known for her feminist songs with aggressive lyrics against macho attitudes, is 76 today. Christopher Meloni, the intense American actor, a splendid performer with an impressive resume of sublime works, whose breakout role was Chris Keller, a bisexual and psychotic serial killer (with interesting full-frontal nude scenes) on "Oz" (excellent show) in 1998, widely known for his role as the explosive Detective Elliot Stabler on the popular and long-running NBC series "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit", is 62 today.

3 pointsAn argument could be made for Dame Vera Lynn as well in my opinion. Her almost century long career and being seen as "Forces Sweetheart" during WW2: Songs like We'll Meet Again and White Cliffs of Dover which capture the time of the war. And the fact she was alive 75 years later was just so surprising and lovely.

3 pointsEstelle Harris died on this day a year ago, aged 93. - Harris' career began as an actress for TV advertisements. In one year, she starred in 25 of them, earning the nickname "Queen of Commercials". - It wouldn't be until 1992 when her career began to take off, when she was cast as George Costanza's mom Estelle on Seinfeld. - She would then often be cast in Disney movies and shows (usually voice acting roles), including Tammy Turtle in Mickey Mouse Works and House of Mouse, Mama Lipsky in Kim Possible, Dave's sword Lula in Dave the Barbarian, Muriel in The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Mrs. Boogin in Teacher's Pet: The Movie, and most notably Mrs. Potato Head beginning in Toy Story 2: - Other than Disney, she also voiced Professor Farnsworth's mother in Futurama and Death's mother in Family Guy. - Harris debuted on DeathList 2022, and was its third hit.

2 pointsThe difference one death can make. I was remarking in the past hour how the Player of the Month for March was a very unremarkable 12 points. Since Sakamoto was in March, it's instead 29 points for Waiting for the Hearse (Sakamoto joker + a unique nonagenarian)!

2 pointsOh come on now, that Fugees track slaps! My only gripe is that just the 3 minus points went to Oasis rather than 6. What a prick tease.

2 pointsI remember the Finnish Gladiators "Gladiaattorit", but I was never a big fan of it. Suprisingly only two of those competitors from the original show are dead, the most notable ones - cannibal murderer Virpi Butt and controversial steroidfilled "politician" personality Tony Halme and all the living ones are doing fine as far as I know. The second host narrator Minna Aaltonen is also dead. The original presenter Juha-Pekka Jalo b 1957 suffered a heart attack in 2014 and retired a year or two ago. Jucci Hellström from the 2017 revival has or had cancer and has had some other ailments, but don't know his current condition.

2 pointsVaclav Klaus' yearly birthday wish for Kundera, here's the "important" part: Dear and kind Mrs. Vera, tomorrow is the 94th anniversary of the birth of your husband, the great writer and great personality of modern Czech history, Milan Kundera. I know about his state of health, and therefore I know that I cannot write to him and that I should write to you. I know that you have devoted yourself to him for many decades, and we all have to thank you for that on this very day.
