I heard a nice story about Tina years ago. She did a show at Versailles and insisted that all the bus drivers out in the coach park were allowed in.

Incredible life and career. Just a legendary success story. I really think she was one of the most iconic human beings of all time. Jimmy Carter really outlived Tina Turner, goddamn.

Shame, loved her. Tried her songs quite a few times at Karaoke. Nutbush City Limits, Steamy Windows, and what I like to call my favourite song of all time, River Deep, Mountain High. She deserved to turn her life around after the 70s and succeeded. In the end, a life well-lived.

You know, some of us have teams without a hit yet. Sliding down the scoreboard isn't an option for some of us. Anyway @gcreptile have a Kenneth Anger based Obit to be going on with: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/kenneth-anger-experimental-filmmaker-hollywood-144520511.html

Update on James van Hoften. I've just discovered that he resigned from Gatwick Airport's board of directors on May 13th, 2019. Absolutely no idea on his current whereabouts though, we don't know if he's moved back to the USA or he still lives here in the UK.

I'm so distracted by the Russian Security Council meeting right now. I think they're going to recognize the "Luhansk" and "Donezk people's Republic" in 30 minutes. Shit will hit the fan.

His convictions are being challenged in Court today despite his death in 2017. Not sure if some or all of them are likely to be be overturned. Judgement reserved so no decision today.

Re the kids and that Sean Lennon James Paul McCartney Dhani Harrison and Zak Starkey Would genuinely make a decent band - though given Zak's considerable thwack they'd probs sound more like The Who than their dads did

Okay, based on a crude model that took 90 minutes from start to finish to devise and run we reckon, the dead Russian is somewhere beyond 9 billion miles but not within touching distance of 10. The guy who knows most about planets did give us a snorting; 'does this really matter,' reply when we asked for his help so our grasp of the exact line up of planets and - therefore - the gravitational slingshot available to an accidental space tourist in the early sixties is a little sketchy. He could also have gone the other way which means he have got to the sun before NASA put a man on the Moon.
