This is how you know these gerontology enthusiasts are actually gerontophiles, or as we say in Scotland “granny shaggers”.

New calment interview from 1988 resurfaced (in french) from Paris Match. She was interviewed aged 113 when she became world oldest person alive and there is plenty of precise memories of her childhood which I never herd of : her father constructing a boat named Jeanne and the departure of it, the Mistral exhibition in Arles in late XIXth… She also talked about her daughter which is rare. On another note, just found this picture of Camacho Quiros at 100. She looks 20 years less, impressive. that’s all, good night.

I loved this song from the very first listen, bought the first album, went to a gig, where they played every song from their first album, I mean, whatever else I celebrated the band and the concert so hard that I was sick for a whole week afterwards. This is how you really party!

I know I already said this but this is by far the best list of songs we have had to vote on, and it’s stunning these are #2 songs. In almost every case I’m left exclaiming in a loud high pitched voice ‘if that song was only #2, what the hell was #1?!’

Danny Estrin, of Australian band Voyager has some kind of cancer that requirs immediate treatment: https://thewest.com.au/entertainment/music/voyager-singer-danny-estrin-reveals-devastating-cancer-diagnosis--c-11973278 Voyager represented Australia in this year's ESC. Immediate treatment means they can probably still cure it, but you never know....

For Johnson, he broke the law. For Brand, there have been a few accusations, from 15+ years ago, and no arrest or prosecution, but the main tenor of the coverage seems to be emphasising what a cad he was at that time (today's Gem from the Mail - Billy Connolly had stern words with him for trying to cop off with a wardrobe assistant, and after that he behaved well, put in a great performance, and went on to be a strong supporter of Connolly). His "age-gap" related issue was 31-16 (15 years). For Schofield and Edwards, I believe it related to things they were doing right now at the same time as carrying out A list mainstream media jobs. Still they got far less coverage than Brand is getting. They had much bigger age gaps (30-40+ iirc) if that is what the issue is here.
