Apologies for being a bit tardy with this but in line with every winner since the second title holder Banana has seen fit to ask for a charitable donation - Britiain's biggest organization providing foodbank services is now a few quid better off. Who said we were sickos, eh?

I'm genuinely surprised he went this year. Willie Nelson is going to outlive everyone he's ever collaborated with, no matter how much younger they are, I guess. Look out, Jessica Simpson.

Busy facepalming everyone. He doesn't seem to understand that function isn't supposed to be used every time you merely disagree with someone else's opinion.

Looks like Toby Keith was a miss by all of us. I thought for sure he was in no danger for the month.. He was on tour and I saw a recent interview where he did look thin and a bit gaunt but he did not look like he was at death's door either. Figured maybe later this year he would have popped up on someones list but definitely looked like he was going to make it through this month at the very least.

Former Taoiseach John Bruton reportedly dead: https://www.rte.ie/news/ireland/2024/0206/1430700-john-bruton/ Never seemingly mentioned here, despite the long illness. Dead and never called me Mother.

Re: Lavender... the Guardian, Times and Telegraph have all published obits for him now. None hint at a cause of death. However, the fact that they were all published in full by last night would suggest they were compiled prior to his death. What is telling is his IMDb profile. Last role was a voice casting, released in 2023, but could have easily been recorded 2021/22. Last appearance in person was in a Dad's Army related programme in 2020. He was very active prior to lockdown. All of this would suggest he wasn't a well man and that the obit writers were aware of this. In other words, I'm calling bs on any rumours about unnatural causes.

See, I avoided him having been well and truly booted in the arse by the Randy Jackson nonsense last year. Literally my last drop from my entire team including subs. Didn't want the points anyway lol.

The only significant ones I'd say. Though Lavender was the last from the primary cast.

Report of the death of Mickey Gilbert, stuntman who doubled for Robert Redford and Gene Wilder in particular: Yes, he's the guy who leaps from a cliff in Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid. Too many good movies to mention, here is his IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0318176/

He wasn’t beloved by me, just another stupid fucking American peddling stupid fucking modern country music. At least that old warmongering bitch Vera Lynn had a touch of style.

Erich von Daniken - DL potential when he hits 90? Feels like he hits that sweet spot occupied previously by the likes of James Randi and Robert Pirsig.

All three were interviewed for a BBC documentary series on that great Welsh side of the 70s last year. Gareth looked well enough but I reckon Gerald Davies and John Taylor will outlive him. They both look fantastic for their age.
