3 pointsCongrats drol, a well deserved victory! Bringing down an immortal seemed like a Herculean task but for you it was super easy, barely an inconvenience!

3 pointsWow! I feel like a boxer who psyched himself up for the big fight, only to get knocked out with the first punch. Congratulations @drol

3 pointsJust like how you said Nora Cortiñas was improving? Do us a favour drol – go over to the Jimmy Carter thread and write “Jimmy Carter improving”. Please

3 pointsThis obit (in Burmese) says that he died at 08:45, giving the cause of death as pneumonia. Congratulations, Drol.

3 pointsWell done @max_bossetti. I think that's a fair result and, even if my deceased puppeteer had scored me points, I hadn't done anything about getting a new team together, so would have been disqualified anyway. Will be back next year for more.

2 pointsCongratulations Drol! Missed the entry (would have gone with Rupert Keegan or Salman of Saudi Arabia if I entered) but had no choice since I'll be at the KSC (Kennedy Space Center for those wondering) in just a few hours.

2 pointsAye, congrats (provisionally) Drol I'll update the hall of fame and swap messages about a generous prize tomorrow, firstly because there's always the possibility that you didn't win and details will emerge of an (unlikely) quicker resolution to this gleefully rapid dead pool, and secondly because a night out including shameless noodling prog rock and a few pints beckons, so I might be otherwise engaged tonight. Wiki, btw, confirms today as his last Here's yer man in more upright and successfully respirating times:

2 pointsHer obituary in the New York Times mentions that she once asked her son in law if she could meet the Pope. Now I'm kind of curious if she did. (I will say that a cousin of mine had Barack as one of her teachers in law school before he became president, and apparently he did mention his mother-in-law a couple of times. From my own experience in academia, this is pretty common.)
-
2 pointsWell he’s did it again! We’ll still have to wait a while yet to see who the first President to die in May will be.
