2 pointsSaw in the comedian's topic that Victoria Jackson's cancer has come back and been given less than three years to live. She previously had breast cancer in 2015 and it went into remission. (her Wiki) This time she has cancer that is inoperable and in her windpipe. Apparently she's been given a magic pill that shrinks it, but in the end the cancer will suffocate her (that's if it doesn't spread elsewhere). Daily Mail Away from cancer. She seems to have some conspiracy theory views related to Obama and a bit of a crazy Republican (who isn't these days). I'm sure she'll be cashing in on that.

1 pointWhat's worse is I wouldn't be surprised if there's shady income he hasn't declared on top of what he has declared. I mean all that support for Putin can't be for nothing.

1 pointThe committee wisely avoided him so far, but he seems like a natural successor to either Eastwood or Hackman.

1 pointRay Chapman died on this day 104 years ago, aged 29. - Chapman's first major league baseball team was the Cleveland Naps, which he was drafted to in 1912, renamed to the Cleveland Indians in 1914 (and now known as the Cleveland Guardians). - Chapman became very well known for his stealing base and sacrifice bunt techniques, with a total batting average of .303. Rumors spread that he was planning to retire after the 1920 season to focus on his new marriage and starting a family. However, a tragic accident prevented this: - On August 16, 1920, Chapman was playing against the New York Yankees, when pitcher Carl Mays threw a pitch that accidentally hit him in the head. Chapman started bleeding from the ear, and players from both teams (and a doctor) rushed to aid him, before he lost consciousness shortly thereafter. Chapman died the following morning due to a skull fracture. Chapman's death led to people rallying for players to be required to wear helmets- albeit it took over three decades for that rule to be instated.

1 pointAbbie is a proper WTF case. Ill for years, breathing issues, overweight, hospital recently and still going. Lawler's on the downward spiral imo. Flair. Dunno how he's alive. Crazy clearly doesn't listen to the reaper. Jake is the last person I ever expected to listen to doctors advice on how to prolong your life with COPD. Duggans a weird one. Fairly robust but has lots of health crisis in-between. Can only beat cancer so many times. Bret's ok. He's a bit frail from the stroke but that's just him for life. Wouldn't be surprised if he outlived another few brothers. What's Bruce up to these days? Marty Jannetty is a nutter addict, not sure how he's still alive. Heidenreich has a number of health issues. Had heard Dutch Mantel has been ill. Dennis Condrey had throat cancer for ages and looked like shit recently. Bobby Fulton still ill. Watch the ecw addicts who have gone quiet, Justin Credible for example. Tugboats still going somehow as is bloody Sir Mo. Ahmed Johnson has suspected dementia, Earl Hebner is meant to going the same way as his brother and Sabu is suffering the least surprising neurological problems in history. Both of Demolition have early signs of dementia. None getting the last rites but the 1940s where 90% of the name wrestlers born then died before the age of 76 looks like it was repeat with the 1950s and maybe even the 1960s. Incidentally Boris Zhukov has migraines, memory loss, blackouts and dizziness and still works as a long distance truck driver. The American dream!

1 pointPeter Procter, picked in quite a few DP's I believe, died earlier today. There will be a proper obituary on its way soon from either the BRDC or one of the cycling websites. I had a lot of correspondence with him between 2020 and 2023 and he was a very nice man. RIP.

1 pointSalem Al-Ali Al-Sabah (1926-2024) "Who's that on the corner? Oh, don't worry, it's old Sheikh Salem from Kuwait. He has been doing poorly, he won't be there for long" (God to Adam and Eve)" "Sheikh Salem has recently undergone complete self-ignition but he is still doing well" (arghton, updating the forum on Salem's conditions) Age at death: 98 Known health issues: He had ICU stays atleast in the early 2000s and after suffering seemingly hypoxia and cardiac arrest (possibly also internal bleeding) due to severe gastrointestinal perforation he underwent tracheotomy (see around 1:13 in this video - that clip is from 2007) and following a two and a half year recovery at hospitals somehow recovered and returned to Kuwait in January 2010. He had hospitalisations in February-March 2013, September 2018, December 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021...in 2020 he was critically ill, Kuwaiti social media users have for the last few years been saying "I pray for his recovery" or something similar every time he's being talked about. (credit to arghton) Cause of death: Fucking Israel, they got another one of them! Alignment: Stone guest in the last 60 years of Kuwait history, he survived 5 emirs as head of National Guard.

1 pointHis Hall of Fame induction is tomorrow and this article makes it sound like Misty is finally ready to let go. "I’ve told him to please hang on ’til the 3rd and then, you know, I don’t want to see him suffer anymore. He’s been suffering."

1 pointVery sad news. The Lyn Scully era was around the time that my Neighbours fandom was coming to an end but she was amazing as Reb Kean in Prisoner. RIP.

1 pointNah, he's a picture of health. But he does have a dangerous stalker who goes by the name of a stone fruit.

1 pointI agree with En Passant, I hate threads like these, in my opinion they should either be in extra curricular or be merged into the political rantings one because there are never updates about health or death in any of them. Older figures like Trump and Biden are fine but even those I think should be moved to extra-curricular and a second thread just to discuss their health should be created. The Liz Truss thread, for example, is one I haven't clicked on in ages because I don't care about what she's saying or done that is not related to her dying.
