MCCRRICK'S FINAL FURLONG 8/50 5th July 2019 One of the UK's most well known horse racing pundits and journalists has went down his final stretch in order to give the crowdsource list's next success. He first tried to get into some diplomatic service, but after that failed, he went through some other jobs such as being a tic tac man before he eventually became a journalist for The Sporting Life. He began his horse pundit on ITV Sport's horse racing coverage in 1981.His role was eventually expanded after the horse racing channel was switched from ITV to Channel 4 in 1985, where he eventually got his flamboyant attire such as his famous hat and sideburns that many people remember today, such. However, it may be his wild life away from horse racing where he is best remembered for such as his appearance in Celebrity Big Brother. Indeed, he was dropped from their coverage team in 2013 because he was considered offensive and disgusting. Whether you liked him or not, there was no doubt that he was a very influential figure on the news scene. People noticed that he looked very poorly last October. and while some like myself thought we might be falling for a booby trap, in the end he turned out to be a dead cert and was quite pathetically easy to catch, dying from lung cancer at 79. He was making his first appearance on the list, jumping all the way to the 24th spot.

If legislated for and Boris is mandated to do so, he could always go to the meeting on 17th October to request an extension, then since the UK remains a member of the EU, the government could use their veto to block our own request for an extension. There is also an easier way around calling an election. If the Government fails to get the 2/3 supermajority for an election, they can do a simple 'notwithstanding FTPA' Bill which would require a simple majority.

Former Iceland international and national team boss Atli Eðvaldsson has died at 62. For some additional flavouring, late DL favourite Chapman Pincher claimed Atli was the only man with evidence that proved former MI5 head Roger Hollis was actually a Russian double-agent.

Boudicca’s semi-final (June) pick winemaker Tim Moore apparently died in New York where he was receiving treatment for C. The obit published July 1. Which almost certainly indicates he died in June 30, if not a day or two earlier. Meaning....he was actually a HIT for Miss Bou, if confirmed. (EDIT): Tim Moore died on June 29th !! CONFIRMED - ANOTHER HIT for Boudicca in the final four! Making it in reality a 21-9 score. Awesome!

September's Mighty 5/Still Alive are posted above. I also updated the first page a bit with recent deaths so you don't have to research the names to confirm they are still living before creating your team. Nitty Gritty. . . . .

I guess when you listened you weren't off your head on acid in a big barn full of flashing lights, wearing your roller skates and a Smiley badge. I'm afraid that's how most mixes of that era went over my head, because I never did that. Never said it was a classic, and can't imagine the kids from that time ever finding themselves later humming them while waiting to pick the kids up from school.

Damn! Waited just a couple of hrs too long to check in - Eddie Money was going to be my new name for the game, but Fixed Business beat me to it. I suspect we will start to see him come up quite a bit over the next couple of months. Glad some folks are following the new system, even though others are not. But thanks for clearing the air on the rules as I don't have time to cover it all right now, guests from out of town are waiting in the other room! I guess the new rules are not for everyone, sorry to see Mr. Creep move on. Sept (all rock n roll) team: Eddie Money Gary Rossington Yoko Ono Lee Kerslake Stevie Wonder

Rescued this wee chap out the front of the house yesterday, gave him some kitten food and moved him to the bottom of the garden so he's well away from the road.

My Father in law died this morning aged 65, would of been 66 later this week, been expecting it for a while but the end came quite quickly after he had been stable for a while. He had diabetes for years but he didn’t look after himself when younger eventually he had to have his leg amputated due to infection caused by diabetes about a 2 years ago but he never really recovered and infections kept coming back about a month or so ago we thought that he was about to die as he went into organ failure and were told to prepare for the worse but he sort of stabilised much to the amazement of Doctors until the early hours this morning when he died. Sad but probably a blessing long term as he had no quality of life. In fact death seems to be following me around today found out today my next door neighbour died aged 74 over the weekend, went to tell my Grandma about Father in laws death and there was an ambulance and Police outside one of her Neighbours house and one of them had died during night granted didn’t know them but still then went to work and found out managers Dad died over weekend of a Brain Tumour again didn’t know him but that’s 4 deaths I have found out about today and it isn’t even midday yet.
