The Happy Birthday thread was created precisely for the reason of celebrating birthdays in, rather than nudging an individual's thread, creating a moment of excitement followed by crashing disappointment when it was realised it was said individuals birthday, rather than deathday. Havng said that, I have been known to celebrate my own birthday in multiple locations...

10 years now since he revealed he was dying of Parkinson’s, reckoned he had around 7 years so outlived his own medically qualified estimate. 76 now, has been mentioned before but was surprised he’s never had his own thread despite his association with stiffs

Could I suggest Kåre Willoch(B.1928) He was the prime minister in Norway from 1981-1986. He was diagnosed woth cancer back in april 2016, and a stroke in december 2019. He lost his speech after the stroke, but seems to recover from it slowly, he also said in march 2019 that his cancer was gone. And even after this health issues and also looking frail, he still takes daily walks. Anyway just a suggestion

Rugby player Eric Tweedale recently got to 100. Also, about the supercentenarian former Costa Rica first lady Marita Quiros: She has a therapy doll (usually used for people with dementia) in a photo from February. Doesn't mean she "100%" will die soon (as Hester Ford lived with Alzheimer's for atleast 3 or 4 years before dying at the age of 116) but combined with her age, probably gone by the end of this year. Any news or new pictures of Ruth Apilado? Celebrated her 113th on 30th of last month

Sadly, Mindy was more in the nu-country vein of your Carrie Underwoods, unlike the more talented Lumpkin and her Lynn/Cline traditional country stylings. Also, Lurleen and Homer’s sextape was way hotter. It’s on the dark web somewhere

This has probably already been said, but 24hr news channels and hourly news updates on the TV / radio. Do we really need to be constantly told about how crap or otherwise things are? With the rise of the web it's easier to find out what's happening than turning on the TV et al. I found out about Phil's death on here - short and concise.

Welcome back Deathers, you grumpy cunt. What's the fucking problem with infrequent updates at this time of year? Once you get past the fun of people getting 5 hits in January, the game doesn't get interesting again until about September! If I was a petty cunt, I could look back at how often the pool used to be updated before I did it. As it happens, I am a petty cunt and a quick look back to 2019 shows an update in January, March, May, August, October, and December. So every 2 months - about the same time since I last did it. So you can take your "I entrusted this pool to AFB under the impression it was in good hands" and shove it up your fucking hole . I'll update it when I am good and ready. (Good to see you back though - you've been missed )

True story - my maternal grandfather died walking home from church when a lorry and bus collided and crushed him on the pavement. Not really ironic but he obviously didn’t get his prayers right. My mum was 2 at the time and my Gran was 6 months pregnant.
