Sending you love at  this difficult time and geniune sympathy  at your loss.  Cherish the good  and happy times  together before the horrible illness  took a grip. It will help in time to get to a stage were your abiding  memories of your mum are not dominated by the final years of her  illness but better times.

I was going to post this all year but it seemed like each time I thought about it, someone here on DL had a family member die and I didn’t want to step all over their time.

So looks like today is the day.

Way back on 2 January 2024 a friend of a friend who was recruited to join our inaugural friendly Deadpool died (no wonder we never got his 2024 entry ;-). His name was Jim Sheridan and he was in Illinois.  He was a very funny chap and I enjoyed our online posts.  I never met him in person.

Jim would not only be part of the first year Deadpool — HE WON THE DAMN THING, buttressed by the brilliant pick of Philip Seymour Hoffman.
So in his honour I’m posting his winning team from 2014.  His cerebral and amusing posts been missed this year and always.
