7 pointsOptmism can be misplaced as was the case with Ronnie James Dio and Robin Gibb. She is living her life to the full while she still can.Stage 4 lung cancer is a terrible diagnosis and I am. sure Leah knows as much. Her optimism revolves around the time she has.A very logical decision. She is creating precious memories for her partner and children by investing her time in shamanism which is clearly giving her and those around her great comfort.Good for her I say.I think she is going through the faze of being overly positive so that her nearest and dearest have a sense of joy when they reminisce about her in years to come.Much better for those you love dearly not to remember you as a poor helpless being but as someone full of joy and positivity. When you know your time is limited it makes sense to maximise the memories for those you leave behind. I am conficted in what I hope for Leah.I hope on balance she deteriates rapidly and dies in peace later this year rather than lingers on and suffers .As horrible as this sounds there is a logic to it.53 is no age to go at all.If you have to though it is better that it is not too drawn out.Although on a personal level I think shamism is bullshit. BUT if it helps Leah and her family cope with such a horrible situation then that is something to be celebrated.

4 pointsI gave Dunn a smiley here as I felt it was fitting of his status as the celebrity most iconic to DeathList. And since it's been added the community has designated as the official "we already know that" smiley.

3 pointsYou might want to use the talents you're busy abusing there the next time you need to produce rigged election resusts you want to defend.

3 pointsLotfi A. Zedah, an Azerbaijani-American mathematician and theorist, has died at the age of 96. http://www.ibna.ir/en/doc/naghli/250978/iranian-theorist-of-fuzzy-logic-dies To quote his Wiki article: He is best known for proposing the fuzzy mathematics consisting of those fuzzy related concepts: fuzzy sets, fuzzy logic, fuzzy algorithms, fuzzy semantics, fuzzy languages, fuzzy control, fuzzy systems, fuzzy probabilities, fuzzy events, and fuzzy information. Sounds like a bit of a know-it-all. Time for his fuzzy funeral...

2 pointsYou're welcome. I sometimes consult an Indian book called Pandit Sethuramans Science of Fortune (the Ultimate Book on Numerology – Interesting Occult Thriller! International Best Seller!!) OK, I suspect it may be superstitious bs. But I'm afraid she' s doomed.

2 pointsI keep seeing this head that looks vaguely like Joe Stalin. Can someone tell me who it is and what message it purports to send? Thanks in advance.

2 pointsWhat does numerology say? Her name number is 40. According to ancient texts, number 40 provides her accumulation of fine jewellery (yeah I can see jewels) and wealth and fame... but lots of problems will come up and the end will be pathetic

2 pointsOptimism alone isn't enough. If her treatment stopped working in March and she's only been receiving quack cures ever since ... ... she'd be lucky if she lasted till Christmas. She still looks more or less OK for a terminal cancer patient, but if her cancer has already metastatized, her prognosis could be quite grim.

1 pointI was born in '96, so I won't sit here and say Princess Di because, call me cold, but at 13 months I didn't quite have the capacity to mourn, nay recognise, such people's demises. Biggest death: Michael Jackson Most spectacular death: Kirsty MacColl Most upsetting death: Sir Terry Wogan

1 pointSorry I have been away for awhile. I recently tripped on an escalator and fell down the stairs for an hour and a half. But seriously, current standings, as I know them to be, are as such among our 9 teams: Wormfarmer (Christie, Fawkes, Van Zandvliet, Sarosy) 13 pts GC Reptile (Christie, Van Zandvliet) 7 pts Zsa Zsa's Leg (Campbell, Foray) 4 pts Shaun of the Dead (Fawkes) 3 pts The Unknown Man (Kohl) 2 pts Young Willz (Cant) 2 pts Bibliogryphon (Hardy) 2 pts Fixed Business and Joey Russ nothing yet I apologize to GC Reptile, who somehow I credited with an extra point for Paul Van Zan in an earlier scoring update. He used Paul under his first name which only scores 1 pt. Somehow I gave him 2, plus the correctly added 1937 bonus. Let me know if I have missed any deaths, or if you think I have misscored any hits. A long way to go . . . .

1 pointShould he stay or should he go? If he goes it will be (13 points on the DDP) trouble. If he stays it will be (a 26 point joker next year) double...So the cancer oughta let him know, should he stay or should he go. The indecison's not really bugging me, though.
