Thing is, unlikely death means unpredictable. So I think Gaspard Ulliel fits the bill as one of those unlikely deaths.

I like all three, but I'd say Hazel has the best voice. Lene and Toyah rely more on being quirky.

Sad news, even though he had a good long life. Fabulous in Flight of the Phoenix.

Nah. There was weekly stuff about child sex abuse in the Roman Pedo Church when he was Pope. He gave not a fuck then, and probably gives less of a fuck now. Still baffles me how the Pope still receives little scrutiny by the media. Even in the UK. The powerless and neutral Royal family are critiqued more than the head of a multi-billion member partisan belief system, which is pretty incredible if you think about it.

So close to Thich Nhat Hanh, but still a miss.

LL was a one hit wonder. HOC was an acclaimed actress as well, shagged George Michael and I would suggest you listen to Will You? & rethink.

I saw those! The first post begins with "Big note: Please don't challenge individual names on someones list when they post. When a celebrity dies, this discussion can take place then." I think you've raised an important concern and I have tried to take the most lenient approach to everything I can here. My first instinct is to only consider subs if the person that dies is considered invalid when they die... but a blanket supercentenarian exception should come into play since I understand that some people may not have considered these supercentenarian fitting under the rule "Candidates cannot be famous solely for the fact they are likely to die imminently". I'm going to take a pause and a breath before I implement this. Since mostly everyone selected subs it should be fine, as everything will be in this strange world Cheers! I'll get to it in a second or three!

RIP. Q/O for the DDP Mirror

There have been two notable buddhist monk deaths during the last days but Thích Nhất Hạnh and influential Zen Buddhist monk Thích Thanh Từ are still somehow alive. How long will these two (especially Thich Nhat Hanh who has been dying for years) keep circling the drain? Forever? Both wheelchair-bound, almost unable to move at all and atleast Nhat Hanh can't even talk (not sure if Tu can).

Ah I see, there was a team named "Nobody here gets out alive". Last in the game in 2014. I guess we assumed that the team returned. I will change it, not today, though! I have worked in the first round of corrections now, including an additional team. Julian Fiano and David Butler, the very local playwright (actually a doctor), are disqualified, too. Julian Fiano is a DQ from last year actually. That said, he will not survive the year. Francis Jackson is now on a third team, ie. a lucky sub. Michael Fish is now the designer for one team (Let's see if more switches are needed..), and so on...

Japanese media reporting the death of Shizuo Miyauchi, aged 76, from pancreatic cancer. He was an announcer for TBS and the original voiceover on Takeshi's Castle when it aired in Japan in the 80s. His voice can be heard faintly on the UK version, as Craig Charles dubs over him with his shit jokes.

I took some books to a charity shop at the weekend. I got a message today from a friend I haven't seen in a while asking if I wanted my photo back. I had somehow left a photo of myself in the book without realising and my friend had coincidentally bought it. I am not really that bothered about getting the photo back but it was nice to hear from her.
