3 pointsThe oldest surviving post is 20 today! Guest KateS and her incorrect prediction didn't do much to earn the title, but let's all raise a glass to her.

2 pointsThe forum was new in 2003 (citing Grim Reaper here, this was before I found the forum googling who the fuck Randy Pausch was iirc!), The front page has gone through a variety of changes though. From 2009 to 2016 it was the best layout imo. You could check variations on the front page going back to the nineties (when it was the only page) but the Wayback Machine is currently having kittens and crashing.

2 pointsKikuyo Honma, oldest person in Niigata Prefecture, Japan, passed away on Sep 12 at 112. She was born on November 1st 1910 First 1910 death since birthday twin Louise Levy Hisao Ikeda, the second-oldest man in Japan, is reported to have died in August at 110 Both of the deceased were just validated by LQ a couple days ago So this potentially gives Robert and Waclaw new ammo; “being validated by LQ kills supercentenarians”

1 pointI've no objection to her being on the DL, only to her being worth a dedicated thread. She's very old and frail and that's all there is to say about her. Here we are on page 2 and all the talk has been about other people.

1 pointI don't know about class, but David Mitchell is one of those people whose voice sounds like someone's bottom making farting noises against a leather seat.

1 pointI'd like to take 1000 people to watch Carlisle finally win the FA Cup, an ambition several degrees more doable and likely than 1000 humans on the second planet from the sun by 2050!
