4 pointsEliza Underwood (15 March 1867 - 27 January 1981) was validated by Longeviquest. She was oldest person ever, since 16 October 1979 when she surpassed the final age of Delina Filkins (1815–1928). The evidence that has been found strongly suggests that Underwood might have been even older. The earliest census records and the earliest documents found, specifically the 1870 and 1880 census records, confirm her ages as 4 in August and 14 in June of the respective years. Given her claim of being born in March, the two earliest documents would suggest a birth year of 1866 rather than 1867, indicating that she was 114 at the time of her passing (a year older than claimed). This would have also made her the first person on record to reach the age of 114. https://longeviquest.com/supercentenarians/eliza-underwood/#recognition-section

2 pointsI don’t know if she should really be called “validated” if there is no certainty to her birth date (She was very likely still 113 or older though)

1 pointTwo bits about Russ Francis that Diego didn't mention. He won the Superbowl in 1984. I feel like every superbowl winner is a guaranteed DDP QO nowadays, which wasn't the case a few years ago. And he was in the Wrestlemania 2 NFL Vs WWF battle royal.

1 pointDustin Gee. This was Jan '86 and I was 6 at the time. I used to watch the show he and Les Dennis did on BBC one on Saturday nights (their parody of David Bowie and Mick Jagger is etched into my memory) and I clearly remember hearing he had just dropped dead. This was right at the start of the broadcasts of the shows third season. I'll bet no-one younger than early 40s has a clue who he was now, but at the time he was a major prime-time TV star. I also remember clearly Pat Phoenix later that year, and all the news coverage of her illness leading up to her death. And I distictly remember Fred Astaire's death being on the news the following year. I had no idea who he was but from the importance of how his death was being covered I felt compelled to tell my mum about it, assuming she would know who he was (which she did).

1 pointYou're so wrong. I care. I care that your cat had such a complete nonce for an owner. Poor little bastard. Oh, and just so I don't disappoint you, there should be two spaces after the full stop, an apostrophe in 'dont', 'u' should be 'you', a full stop after 'though', and quite possibly a comma after 'care'.
