I almost got him confused with Al Pacino, the biophysicist

I came across a news article tonight about Al Pacino losing his balance and falling over on the red carpet at the BAFTA film awards in London tonight. Not a serious fall but possibly a sign or pointer he is ailing. I went to post it on an Al Pacino thread to find to my surprise that there is not one! So I decided to start one especially as he both getting on in age and undoubtedly iconic in popular culture and film history. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/10876393/bafta-al-pacino-falls-over/

Yeah he fell and needed help getting back up, but was in his seat for the show. Not in danger, but all these A-listers of that generation are getting up in age now.

I think it is very likely many are not even being diagnosed or admitted to hospital and are simply being classified as having died from pneumonia.

Well, I googled that rapper.... and then that feature song with that band... and then the former members, and then that band (had to check several people AND bands...) and then the song on that album.... Okay, next song.... biggest chart success of this Welsh musician. The video is about twice as long as the song and contains 44 uses of the word "fuck". The song itself only has one intelligible line, in french.

Well done. I managed to free myself from the weed in 2003. Found it surprisingly easy. I picked the date I was going to stop, so I was prepared. The first 3 days are the worst. Just tell yourself "I gone for 3 days without one, what's another day". It gets easier after a week. Well done again and good luck with staying off them.

I gave up in September 2014. It has saved me a fortune and, honestly, I have better breathing and all that. Do not, however, believe the bullshit that ' food tastes better' when you stop. It tastes no different!

You can only do abuse, can’t you? Such a tragic existence. Talk about a lack of soul and intelligence. Reply with more foul nonsense as much as you like. It doesn’t work, we just pity you.

Haven’t plenty of 900-year olds already walked the earth?

The 'similar to James Blunt' thing got me thinking so I looked up this one song and, lo and behold, it was at No.1 for 4 weeks... Gotye - Somebody I Used To Know?

I do not like the "Theme Team" game. For me it serves very little purpose, except for . . . . - Inflating the total number of teams - sneaking in obscure picks that you are debating whether or not they will get a QO, but by fitting them in to a theme team denies a possible Unique hit if someone else picks them - showing off that you know how to spell Tom Weiskopf

Twitter reporting the death of prolific suspense novelist Mary Higgins Clark at age 92. A DDP pick, too. Edit: Mary Higgins Clark obit: https://apnews.com/74fd23c000ad16c2fc13b893516e336b

Alan Harris who appeared in the original trilogy but most famously as bounty hunter Bossk in The Empire Strikes Back has reportedly died: https://comicbook.com/starwars/2020/01/31/star-wars-alan-harris-bossk-actor-dies-passes-away-empire-strikes-back/ Selfishly, I'll mention he had two small roles in Doctor Who - Sevateem Council Member in The Face of Evil and as a Vervoid in Trial Of A Time Lord.

Aye, I'd agree with the above If only everything was as simple and harmlessly pleasurable as dead pooling!

Headline surely will have to be "That's arap!"

Well done Rad - first ever back-to-back Deathrace wins no lean feat

Oh, wow... I'd intended to - at least temporarily - quit the forum (lot of stuff going on in my personal life, deadpooling a big distraction) after my previous post 2 weeks ago. But then this morning something told me to log back on one last time and at first I thought "wow, my spidey senses wanted me to know that Deathray reacted assholishly to my tattoo? greeeat LOL" until I realized I was also a hair away from winning the Deathrace! Now, back from classes, check Twitter to see Andretti's died... fuck sake I really won it a second time in a row?

In the context of Michael Barrymore a dead pool is a rather unfortunate expression, now I come to think of it.
