What point? I posted just one minute later. I simply forgot to edit the first post and hit the wrong button. The next poster was 24 minutes later so nobody was inconvenienced.

Sandra Day O’Connor will be dead within the next 2 or 3 years. Put her on the 2024 list or lose the chance altogether. She would be a very good replacement for Mrs. Carter (and possibly her husband). I think it is also time to add Clint Eastwood (or Jack Nicholson), there are a lot less notable names on the DL list with less issues.

Seconding Lovell, DL still needs an astronaut and him and Buzz are probably the last from that generation to be well known enough for the front page

Would like to see at least one cricketer included. Gary Sobers, Geoff Boycott, Dickie Bird and Neil Harvey are all good candidates. Not a cricketer but I'd like to see Colin Jeavons included if he makes the starting line.

Would be ironic if Shane Macgowan were to follow seeing as Ackland was in the video of the single which beat the Pogues to the punch in Xmas '87!* *PSB won the battle but the Pogues definitely won the war though.

Jimmy will not cope her passing. He is 99 and in hospice care since February, he is at the imminent end of his life. I think that he will not attend the funeral of his wife, he is too much frail or maybe he will attend in wheelchair and in poor health and in these case it will be his last public apparition. I think, in one month, he will be at rest with his wife. I think Jimmy will joins his partner into the grave much faster than Queen Elizabeth joining Prince Philip or George Bush Sr joining Barbara Bush.

Updated for Carter & Ackland This is the third most successful year ever. In 2013 there were four hits later than this and in 2020 there were three. I think this year could at least draw level with 2017 but I do not see it surpassing 2020

This is the Grandma Droniak thread. When she does slay in peace, I imagine a lot of people will hear about it. As she's one of the more active 90+, giving her social media status.

I definitely think Psychedelic Furs guitarist John Ashton would make an excellent pick for the Deathlist. Stage 4 cancer since 2021 and he’s the exact type of cult music name that the committee loves to pick. Honestly feels like a match made in heaven

I think The Committee will do their usual practice of watching an episode of Spitting Image from 1985 and picking anyone who is still left.

I reckon he will make it to the funeral then deteriorate quickly after that.

I see Jimmy Carter, Shane MacGown and Jacques Delors as hits for these DL !
  24. 1 point
I think Jacques Delors will passes in December or in January next year. He is a good choice to finish these year. Moreover he has lost his wife 3 years ago. Time for him to go ! Joanne Woodward has lost her husband Paul Newman in 2008. Time for her too !
