To be clear, "the Maddie case" was no part of this trial. Basically, he's been acquitted because whilst a break-in at his place in Portugal led to the thieves and later the cops finding video evidence of his raping, it's proven impossible to identify victims and produce evidence linking said victims to our man. In one case there's even a victim recalling a rape but the whole thing is so long ago it's not possible to link the video in Brueckner's den of depravity to her case. The actual thought of turning ones thoughts into plant life, although interesting, not something a man like Jimmy Carter would do. I am sure that President Carter is awaiting his reunion with his wife and just hoping it comes soon. Jimmy Carter may have come up short as a U.S. President, but he was a great humanitarian and actually quite inteligent. Lets give him a little more respect than this.
