I would like to have Joey`s thread/Poll back. It is a great Crowd Sourced List this year, but of course everyone has their own ideas of whom they believed will go first. If the Poll is crap, it will die its own death anyway. So I say, Please give it a chance. Thanks for reading this.

They honestly deserve it. A similarly very foolish drop was General Wojciech Jaruzelski four years ago. That turned out to be fatal in a very mediocre year, though I suspect this year's list will do better than 2014...

That tends to happen as people age.

I think the illegitimate rumours about Harry are wrong but have developed a life of their own. I don't think Diana met James Hewitt until after Harry was born. The dates don't tally.

It's a great loss to British showbusiness.Few people appreciate what a great actress and singer she was, as well as comedienne. Many people will be saddened and distressed to hear this news. RIP PS her death must have been sudden because she was scheduled to appear in 3 episodes of a new tv series starring Idris Elba this year http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0256082/?ref_=ttfc_fc_cl_t9

Got a new avatar. For those who don't know the old one, it was this. This new avatar is quite remarkable, as it has never been seen on the internet. Today it was announced that a long lost scene from a Stan Laurel film was uncovered in the archives of the Fries Film Museum in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands. About 5 miles from where I live. This scene was from the silent movie "Detained". Laurel had yet to from the legendary duo with Oliver Hardy. The scene involves an inmate who is thrown trough a wall. he subsequently and by pure accident lands his head in a noose and his neck is stretched way longer than possible. Copies of the film were usually cut short for home media and this scene was thought lost forever, as is this photograph. So here's the new avatar. A never seen before picture of mr. Stan Laurel, before he worked with Hardy. 16 minutes are now known of the film that had an original lengt of 20 minutes. These 16 minutes, including this scene, was uploaded to youtube.

I'm surprised that polls for predicting the next death of the crowdsource list hasn't started by now, so I'll start it now. I voted for Charlotte Rae.

She appears on the titles of the 1970s comedy Man About the House as a traffic warden when the 3 characters park a car to go to the zoo. Im full of useless facts.

Just saw the unveiling of a statue for former Glasgow player Fernando Ricksen at his former club Fortuna Sittard in the Netherlands. As is well known over here he is suffering from ALS. He was not looking very well I can tell. He couldn't comment on what was happening so I think his speech is more or less gone now. I think he should have been included in the Top50 on the front page.

Haven't watched Emmerdale since it was a Farm. Do read the slash fiction though, so not totally out of it...

Perhaps he needs to look closer to home. For example, Wall Street and billionaires have kept Puerto Rico a shithole for decades. Now, what's he doing about that disaster? You know, it really could have been made into a beautiful holiday destination decades ago, thus improving its economy yada yada yada. So after the latest nightmare he's got plans for it, right? *shrug* I'm not necessarily he's directly responsible, but he's in charge now. The system he was so against, he's now playing it for personal gain. You really think he's going to get those new airports, roads, blah blah blah when he's fixated by race hate, misogyny and a wall? Yeah, the world is full of shitholes, he just doesn't recognise the ones the system the Republicans have supported for aeons have created across his own country.

Nowhere near close to one of the worst picks of 2018. Get the feeling either this year or 2019-2020 is the maximum for her given how old and frail she looked in recent photo's. People like Dick Van Dyke,Honor Blackman and Mel Brooks who are still active and look fit in public seem far worse picks .Those 3 would surprise few if they one day join the ranks of Vera Lynn and Kirk Douglas to make the 100 club.

As is a tradition I'll be allocating 50 points to Thomas Schafernaker; as he was sent to an active hurricane earlier this year it almost looked as though it might not be so ridiculous, will anybody else take a punt this year?

Obviously he's still alive but this thread seems as good a place as any. The controversial ruling about the bloke who escaped jail after beating his wife with a cricket bat named Mustafa Bashir (must-have-a-bash-here) as the culprit. Just me, then?
