With the amount of deaths that have happened this year there are lot of possibilities I can think of that can be added for 2021. Musicians. Ozzy Osbourne (so surprised he is not on the list already), Brian May, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards. Sports. Sir Bobby Charlton, Gerd Muller, Sir Frank Williams. Hollywood/Film. Sidney Poitier, Sophia Loren, Michael Douglas, Angela Lansbury, James Earl Jones, John Williams. Military and Space. Sir Tom Moore, Jim Lovell, Gene Kranz, Thomas Stafford, Hershel Williams (Medal Of Honor). Other celebs who are very old, terminally ill or in poor health. George Shultz, Rush Limbaugh, Barbara Walters, Barbara Windsor. With the amount of deaths that have happened this year there are lot of possibilities I can think of that can be added for 2021.

Perhaps, it’s time for Jimmy Greaves and Mikhail Gorbachev to make a return. I feel Loretta Lynn is a mandatory returnee for next year, as is Jerry Lee Lewis. Joni Mitchell, Gladys Knight, Cleo Laine and Ozzy Osbourne might be other musicians to consider for 2021. Harry Belafonte should not be dropped and I feel Tony Bennett is worth keeping on for next year, as he could suddenly go like Charles Aznavour did. Hollywood types to consider for 2021 should include Lee Grant, Ryan O’Neal, Hal Holbrook and Estelle Parsons. Sidney Poitier should really be on the 2021 DL, Clint Eastwood should really not.

Two things I have learned since I started deadpooling: 1. Everybody in prison is in poor health, and should therefore be released immediately on compassionate grounds (according to their lawyers, who would never exaggerate). 2. They very rarely actually die.

RULES Pick a film with at least three (or four) remaining cast members and submit the name of the film and the three selected cast members on this forum The first player to have all three of their cast members die wins the round. No two players can pick the same film but are allowed to duplicate cast members If two players end up with their single remaining pick being the same performer then they are obliged to add a tie breaker to their team this can be any member of their film's cast or crew. At the end of the round entries are wiped and everyone picks again. All films in the previous rounds are out of bounds (though could be reintroduced in the subsequent round). Winning films will go into the Hall of Fame and are out of bounds for the whole game. The Game will start on Sunday 22nd November 2020 but late entries will be permitted. However late entries may not duplicate actors. Those that have already sent me teams via PM will be included on the masterlist other wise post below but check the first game as no duplicates films are allowed.

Ah, Dead O’Connor. We have our first non-starter. See, this game might not necessarily last 50 years!

You have a good point there actually. Alex Trebek, Regis Philbin, Tom Kennedy, Hugh Downs, Nicholas Parsons to name but a few. Bob Barker should maybe avoid leaving the house till the new year... !

I have two suggestions for the number 50 slot till they go. and Ozzy because he is the last survivor of the first list. Gudrun Ure because she is sort of the female equivalent of Clive Dunn.

honestly, that's what good with this year list : nobody is really safe. I would say, at this point, the only ones that are pretty sure to see 2021 are Akihito, Van Dyck, Edrich, Prunella, Cheney, Musharaff, Shane McGowan and Piggott. Everyone else could drop dead tomorrow or during December : I could well see a devastating month of December for the list…

WTF is the logic behind allowing pubs to sell takeaway food, but not alcohol? Alcohol is available in any supermarket, corner shop, and I seem to remember they allowed off-licences to stay open last time. Beer has a limited shelf life, so our local pubs are taking yet another big hit - this one entirely unnecessary.

Agreed. Des's time has come. I'd also suggest another iconic Desmond, Des Lynam, to join him and for Tutu to stay on the list to make it a triumvirate of Desmonds. There should be more Desmonds than Channel Four in the 1990s on next year's list.
