Maybe now some people will realise that this list is a very useful one for DDP (or whatever death pool) purposes than just trashing the idea.

Worth noting entries close for these at the end of the 30th, not the 31st.

Report of the death of Geoff Stephens who formed The New Vaudeville Band (one for @Ulitzer95), who wrote so many hits of the 1960s and 1970s it's painful: I'm going to single out There's A Kind Of Hush, The Crying Game, Winchester Cathedral and You Won't Find Another Fool Like Me, but read his Wiki for more. IMDB: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0827020/ Tim Rice seems to have reported this as long ago as Christmas Eve.

I thought I would revive this topic and confess that I have recently reverted to a secret vice ..... jigsaw puzzles. Currently doing a version of this painting, a lovely scene of Victorian Londoners having some wintry fun. Sadly the reproduction is overexposed, so the buildings in the background are barely visible, which means doing the sky is going to be a bastard. A Winter’s Day in St James's Park by John Ritchie

Why did you decide to include Clint Eastwood? Was it just because he is ninety years old and he’s too big to miss or do you have reason to believe he is in poor health? Many great picks here, by the way.

I am devastated. When i got back into wrestling, he was the main guy for me to watch. Saw him live in Copenhagen and he was beyond great. Rest well, Brodie... Damn...

Koivisto's widow Tellervo hospitalized after a fall resulting in a broken hip: https://www.iltalehti.fi/kotimaa/a/84442ec6-3516-4a56-8cd5-fd99e84c37c8 Tellervo Koivisto is also a politician, a former member of parliament and Helsinki alderwoman. She's become very frail lately. (Has also had mental health issues for her entire life but those often aren't a large problem at 91.)

Alvin Kamara not only equaled the record of 6 rushing touchdowns in a single game but he has single handedly all but destroyed my chances of first place in the Yahoo fantasy league that I am in.

That sounds bad Cat but good luck and best wishes for the operation and the treatment to follow. Cat's have 9 lives remember and hopefully this is only 4 and 5 you're rattling through here and you will land on your feet as Cats do. There is some good news hidden in there that you are a delightful gentleman (which was obviously your main reason for posting the letter) - I'm left wondering if you had been a twat how the letter would have been worded. Anyway I trivialise - very best wishes and take care. Let us know how you are getting on. Cheers, GUN
