But there are known reasons why some of those people don't post here any more.

For instance Dia de los Muertos flounced off because she took umbrage at something that was said to her.

Same goes for that Random Canadian   She really fancied herself, that one.

You can tell DJL has been gone by the lack of Papist conspiracy theories that have been posted in 2020!

 

iirc Ali said he was very busy with work but aimed to return. He's pretty much universally welcome whenever he is able to, or wants to, of course.

Well we cant say for sure whether or not someone who was last online last weekend is still alive, we can say that its highly unlikely that they have died during that short space of time, opposed to someone who hasnt been on the forums in 5-10 years or so...

 

Best chance of finding out who is alive and who is dead is process of elimination, lets collectively take what we know and find out the answer to whether any DLers are now dead.

Dia de Los Muertos was the only DLr I've ever actually met. She used to live about half a mile from me. About 10 years ago she moved to Scotland and kept in touch by FB for a while. Can't remember her surname so can't see if she's still on FB. 

Canadian Paul posts on stuff from time to time elsewhere, that's how I know he's still kicking around.

I put a fake DOB in here when I joined. I'm only in my late 20s, don't smoke, don't drink or take drugs (been there, done that on all three accounts and got so bored of it). I go to the gym 5 days a week and have a controlled diet.

My family tend to live into their late 80s–late 90s and I had one great great uncle who lived to be 104 and was one of Scotland's oldest men at the time of his passing. That's what kickstarted my interest in longevity/deadpooling.

But anyway, I'm very healthy and I imagine I'll outlive most of the other users on here but you never know what's hiding round the corner. I have been known for my erratic driving for example!
